Lisa Viscome attended Florida State University and received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University School of Law. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1997.
Lisa began her career as a prosecutor with the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. For 11 years, she prosecuted cases ranging from misdemeanors to capital sexual battery. During her time as a prosecutor Lisa worked within specialized units of the State Attorney’s Office – such as the Domestic Violence Unit and the Crimes Against Children Unit. Lisa gained extensive trial experience in these areas and had the opportunity to participate in numerous jury trials. She has a full grasp on the issues commonly raised in criminal cases in both trial and pretrial proceedings.
Lisa joined The Law Offices of Salnick & Fuchs, P.A in 2009. Her years as a prosecutor brings a valuable perspective to defending the firm’s clients. Her expertise on both sides of the criminal justice system has become an essential part of the success of the Law Offices of Salnick & Fuchs, P.A.
Lisa has developed an expertise in appeals and post-conviction matters. She manages the firm’s appellate division and has handled matters in both state and federal appellate courts. Her analytical abilities have assisted the firm in getting to the heart of any complex legal matter without unnecessary rhetoric. She is always part of any defense analysis and has a command of all current case law.
